From First Call to Finished Visit
1. You Call or Text
Describe what is happening in your own words. You do not need to know any technical terms or diagnose the problem yourself. Just tell me what the device is doing, or not doing.
2. We Find a Time
I will ask a few quick questions and give you a straightforward idea of what is going on before we even schedule, when possible. Then we pick a time that works for your home or business.
3. I Arrive and Introduce Myself
I show up when I say I will. You will know who is at your door and why. I am happy to answer questions about my background before we even start.
4. I Check the Problem Where It Happens
Your computer, printer, or Wi-Fi gets checked in its actual setup, not shipped off somewhere. That matters more than people expect - see why below.
5. You Get a Clear Price Before Any Work Starts
I explain what I found and what it will cost before I do anything else. No surprise charges. If parts or paid software are needed, we discuss that too, before you buy anything.
6. I Explain What I Did, in Plain English
Before I leave, you will know what was wrong, what I did about it, and anything worth keeping an eye on. No jargon, and no rushing you out the door with unanswered questions.
Why Not Just Ship It Somewhere?
Mail-in and drop-off repair is the default a lot of people picture. It is not always the better option.
A Few Things People Wonder About
Do I need to clean up or prepare anything?
No. Just have the device and, if it is a Wi-Fi or printer issue, access to the router or printer. That is it.
What if I do not understand the technical terms?
That is normal and expected. I explain everything in plain English, and there is no such thing as a question that is too basic to ask.
Can a family member or caregiver be there instead of me?
Yes. If you are helping a parent or family member from a distance, I am glad to walk them through what is happening, or update you directly by phone afterward.
What if the visit does not fix the problem?
Tell me and I will make it right. See the service guarantee for details.
