If you call, text, email, book an appointment, or submit the contact form, the information you provide is used to respond to your request and provide or arrange services.
Optional Measurement
Google Analytics and Your Choice
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is off by default. Its tracking script is not requested until you actively select Allow analytics. Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the site or contacting SilverTech.
Your choice is stored locally in your browser as silvertech.analytics-consent.v2. The preference is necessary to remember your selection and is not used for advertising. If you clear your browser storage, you will be asked again. When you grant consent, GA4 may set analytics cookies, including _ga cookies.
When analytics are allowed, SilverTech uses GA4 for basic site measurement. Advertising-related consent is kept denied, and Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled by the site's loader.
SilverTech's custom contact events are intentionally minimized. They may record the type of contact action (for example, call, text, online booking, or contact-form submit), a coarse page/section location, the destination category or host, and the page path. They do not send the raw phone or text link, phone number, full Calendly URL, contact-form field contents, or CTA text as custom event parameters.

This website does not include advertising retargeting pixels. Google Analytics is optional, and its requests are blocked until you give consent. The choice below controls optional analytics on this website; it is not a request to third-party services you may visit. You can opt out of optional analytics at any time using the link below. The opt-out applies to this browser and does not prevent you from using the website.
The website also honors your browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) setting. When GPC is enabled, optional analytics remain blocked regardless of any earlier consent stored in your browser. You do not need to use the opt-out link separately.

To request information about personal information handled by SilverTech, or to ask about deletion or correction of information you have provided, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request. Applicable rights depend on your jurisdiction and the circumstances.
Information You Choose to Send
If you contact SilverTech Assist, the information you voluntarily provide may include your name, contact details, appointment information, and the description of the technology problem you want help with.
The website's written contact form submits through FormSubmit to SilverTech's business email. Information entered into that form is therefore transmitted through that service when you submit it. The analytics system does not receive the form-field contents from SilverTech's custom tracking.
Phone, SMS, and email links open the corresponding service on your device. Booking links take you to Calendly, where Calendly's own privacy practices apply.
Embedded Maps and External Websites
The Contact and Areas Served pages offer optional Google Maps embeds. Various pages also offer a live BBB Accredited Business seal. These embeds are disabled until you select Load Google Map or View live BBB seal. Clicking loads that specific third-party frame and establishes a connection to Google or BBB, subject to that provider's privacy practices. This is separate from your Google Analytics preference.
The site also links to external services and profiles such as Google Reviews, Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, Yelp, BBB, Microsoft support resources, FTC resources, and Calendly. Those sites receive information according to their own policies when you visit them.
Security, Retention, and Your Choices
The site uses HTTPS and browser security headers intended to reduce common web risks such as clickjacking, content injection, insecure transport, and unnecessary referrer disclosure.
SilverTech keeps business communications and service-related information as reasonably needed for customer service, recordkeeping, and normal business operations. Third-party services may have their own retention periods and controls.
You can decline analytics in the banner, reopen Analytics Settings from any standard page footer, or use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information to opt out. When you opt out after previously allowing analytics, the page reloads without GA4 and attempts to clear SilverTech-domain GA cookies accessible to this website. Opting out cannot retract data previously received by external services.
